Just a big holiday

Our intention had been to start our blog before we embarked on our big trip. However, packing up our belongings and recovering from Glastonbury took longer than expected and our good intentions fell by the wayside. Nevertheless just a few days into our travels, we are pleased to bring you 'Just a big holiday'.

If you're unfamiliar with our travel plans, we've been working on this trip since the beginning of 2011. It took longer than we thought to plan, but after a few months we realised we had an itinerary that hung together and would take us out of the country until March 2012. We start in Singapore, before travelling up through Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. Leaving Asia, we will then spend two months in New Zealand followed by a brief stop in Sydney (it seemed daft not to have at least a quick look at the place). On our return journey to the UK our final stop will be Borneo, where we spend a few weeks.
